With a little luck, Ipsvoorde's Octavian van Haghten got control of the ball when Bernard Verhaeghen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernard Verhaeghen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian van Haghten having to interfere. If Bernard Verhaeghen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernard Verhaeghen got free with Octavian van Haghten in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernard Verhaeghen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Octavian van Haghten made a huge save. Sven Render sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Herremans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Octavian van Haghten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Ipsvoorde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Sellekaerts to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ipsvoorde's zone, Bernard Verhaeghen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian van Haghten came out of the goal and Bernard Verhaeghen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Ipsvoorde's goalkeeper Octavian van Haghten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Verhaeghen. Bernard Verhaeghen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Octavian van Haghten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Herremans in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian van Haghten saved Ipsvoorde from getting behind. Bernard Verhaeghen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Sven Render got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Herremans was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, 5Stars's Bernard Verhaeghen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavian van Haghten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Sven Render kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dominik Wouqier. That made the score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. After 64 played minutes 5Stars got a freekick which was hit by Albertus Van de Goor. Ipsvoorde's Octavian van Haghten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Herremans in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Herremans in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian van Haghten saved Ipsvoorde from getting behind. A collision led to Ipsvoorde getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Thomas Boumans hit a great ball. Berten Meeus, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 5Stars fully deserved thier win.
