With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georges Lanphant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Zeb United fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Zeb United's Mathias Denturck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sylven Van Den Bosche hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Christiaan Van de Poel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. Rafael Tuytgans helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Jannes Brabant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leffe's supporters rose to their feet, but Jannes Brabant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georges Lanphant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leffe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
