The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot by Kurt Verheijt from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Tibo Roofhoof's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Tommi Dekker came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the AFC Thoricourt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommi Dekker couldn't finish the play. Tommi Dekker hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Tommi de Reyck charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommi de Reyck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 5Stars getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tommi de Reyck hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Tommi Dekker managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Thoricourt's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommi Dekker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Wouqier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tibo Roofhoof was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lars Herremans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Bernard Verhaeghen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibo Roofhoof having to interfere. When 5Stars's Lars Herremans in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Thoricourt's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Herremans to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, 5Stars's Bernard Verhaeghen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tibo Roofhoof made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 5Stars's Dominik Wouqier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommi Dekker in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Lars Herremans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 5Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Herremans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yoeri Andries charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yoeri Andries the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yoeri Andries hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Bernard Verhaeghen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tibo Roofhoof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lars Herremans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommi de Reyck hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Dominik Wouqier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommi Dekker in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Marc Vervaet got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice moves Marc Vervaet could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Dominik Wouqier however easily saved by the left post. AFC Thoricourt's Tommi Dekker got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
