After having played for 3 minutes, Albertus Van de Goor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 5Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertus Van de Goor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, KAA Pepingen's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Verhaeghen came free, but Roel Voorhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Rompen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Laurenz Berrewouts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Wouqier having to interfere. Lars Herremans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Roel Voorhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henri Borglevens kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Roel Voorhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Herremans in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Lars Herremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roel Voorhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 5Stars booed when KAA Pepingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timy Smidts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roel Voorhof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Verhaeghen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5Stars's Bernard Verhaeghen got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernard Verhaeghen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Roel Voorhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomm De Backer hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 5Stars's Dominik Wouqier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waut Depauw in the 43rd minute of play. Roel Voorhof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Verhaeghen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

52 minutes into the match, Lars Herremans notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KAA Pepingen's Roel Voorhof. Roel Voorhof was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute, Lars Herremans fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bernard Verhaeghen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Roel Voorhof made a huge save. 5Stars's Bernard Verhaeghen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tomm De Backer hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When 5Stars's Lars Herremans in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KAA Pepingen's goalie prevented a goal. After 80 minutes of play, 5Stars's Bernard Verhaeghen made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roel Voorhof was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henri Borglevens during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Henri Borglevens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernard Verhaeghen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tommi de Reyck fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 5Stars's protests and gave Tommi de Reyck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, 5Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommi de Reyck to maneuver through the defense. 5Stars played a much better game than KAA Pepingen and deserved their victory. The KAA Pepingen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
