Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tommi Dekker started the match with the kick off. Glen Van Kelf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Steckens, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Steve Van Meensel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match, Tommi Dekker tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Glen Van Kelf saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marc Vervaet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Glen Van Kelf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommi Dekker in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glen Van Kelf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, AFC Thoricourt's Glen Van Kelf threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tommi Dekker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. AFC Thoricourt's Tibo Roofhoof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim-Alexander Pannekoek in the 25th minute of play. Marc Vervaet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Glen Van Kelf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Tommi Dekker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glen Van Kelf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Vervaet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Glen Van Kelf made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Tommi Dekker fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Glen Van Kelf, passed just outside the right post. In the 53rd match minute, AFC Thoricourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxime Decloedt to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Leffe's Alan De Custer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tibo Roofhoof narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Steve Steckens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Thoricourt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leffe the free kick. After 55 played minutes AFC Thoricourt got a freekick which was hit by Steve Steckens. AFC Thoricourt's Tibo Roofhoof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiaan Van de Poel in the 56th minute of play. Tommi Dekker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Glen Van Kelf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michiel Cornelis hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A collision led to Leffe getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Maxim-Alexander Pannekoek hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes AFC Thoricourt got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Deckkers. Tommi Dekker struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Glen Van Kelf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Thoricourt. When AFC Thoricourt's Tommi Dekker in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leffe's goalie prevented a goal. After 87 played minutes Leffe got a freekick which was hit by Raf Sloeve. If Marc Vervaet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Leffe's zone, Tommi Dekker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glen Van Kelf came out of the goal and Tommi Dekker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Leffe's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Vervaet came free, but Glen Van Kelf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leffe's goalkeeper Glen Van Kelf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marc Vervaet took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glen Van Kelf. Glen Van Kelf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AFC Thoricourt had played much better football throughout.
