Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vic van Kelfs kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Oscar Jongbloedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaud Van Adorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Jongbloedt in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaud Van Adorp saved sassport from getting behind. Thibaud Van Adorp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Jongbloedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, sassport's goalkeeper Thibaud Van Adorp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joos Bauweleers. Joos Bauweleers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thibaud Van Adorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Jongbloedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Oscar Jongbloedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaud Van Adorp having to interfere. Harald Van Hoeyvelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jerry De Kerpel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerry De Kerpel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Van Hoeyvelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Jannes Van den Inde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Stanny Van Haechten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. sassport's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Trembleur the free kick. A collision led to sassport getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Stanny Van Haechten hit a great ball. If Harald Van Hoeyvelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FC Trembleur defense, Vic van Kelfs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerry De Kerpel. The FC Trembleur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerry De Kerpel should have stopped the shot. If Harald Van Hoeyvelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ignace Van de Velde hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of sassport booed when FC Trembleur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niel Van Menen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Jongbloedt in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thibaud Van Adorp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harald Van Hoeyvelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry De Kerpel having to interfere. When Luk Provoost fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored sassport's protests and gave Luk Provoost a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, sassport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luk Provoost to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Harald Van Hoeyvelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sassport's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Van Hoeyvelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd match minute, FC Trembleur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joerie Van Eede to maneuver through the defense. Thibaud Van Adorp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Jongbloedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, one of sassport:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for sassport. The referee gave FC Trembleur a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ignace Van de Velde, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of sassport's Thibaud Van Adorp. 1-2. Thibaud Van Adorp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Jongbloedt's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Thibaud Van Adorp came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Trembleur's Oscar Jongbloedt. But to his dismay, Oscar Jongbloedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
