The audience thought a goal was coming when Harald Van Hoeyvelt got free with Olivier Jonckers in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. sassport's Thibaud Van Adorp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorden Rondas in the 36th minute of play. Christiaan Rauvoe's late challenge caught a sassport's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacques Snieders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Jorden Rondas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Thibaud Van Adorp skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Olivier Jonckers came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by sassport's Antonio Luyten. But to his dismay, Antonio Luyten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Vic van Kelfs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olivier Jonckers having to interfere. Thibaud Van Adorp came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by ANTWERP FC's Jorden Rondas. But to his dismay, Jorden Rondas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Antonio Luyten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Olivier Jonckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Johnny Slabbaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vic van Kelfs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olivier Jonckers having to interfere. The ANTWERP FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
