The score was now 1-0. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quaregnon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herald Cuejvers was slow to take the kick. During this time 2860 Rechtsback's players had a chance to rest. The corner led 2860 Rechtsback's Herald Cuejvers to fire away a dangerous shot which Gwenn Herinckx despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Benjamin Wigghers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tijs Timmermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lauren Van de cauter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Quaregnon's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Wigghers came free, but Gwenn Herinckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Wigghers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tijs Timmermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lauren Van de cauter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Quaregnon's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Wigghers came free, but Gwenn Herinckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwenn Herinckx was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benjamin Wigghers showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Gwenn Herinckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Wigghers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tijs Timmermans to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Quaregnon got a corner. 2860 Rechtsback's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adolf Pelgrims ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adolf Pelgrims made a great header on Quaregnon's corner, it was just that 2860 Rechtsback's Lauren Van de cauter managed to reach the ball for a save. When Stephen Wortelers fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quaregnon's protests and gave Stephen Wortelers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Stephen Wortelers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geert De Rudder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gwenn Herinckx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Nestor Suteweij kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geert Huveneers got free with Lauren Van de cauter in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 2860 Rechtsback's Geert De Rudder got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Quaregnon got a freekick which was hit by Robby De Vorster. The supporters of 2860 Rechtsback booed when Quaregnon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tijs Timmermans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Quaregnon's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Wigghers came free, but Gwenn Herinckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Van Dessen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quaregnon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for 2860 Rechtsback. Herald Cuejvers stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gwenn Herinckx. 3-0. Benjamin Wigghers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gwenn Herinckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When 2860 Rechtsback's Geert De Rudder in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quaregnon's goalie prevented a goal. If Benjamin Wigghers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geert De Rudder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwenn Herinckx having to interfere. There was no doubt that 2860 Rechtsback were the better team. 2860 Rechtsback's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
