Spectators: 7362 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michael Preuveneer started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deerlijk's goalkeeper Maurus Leempoels, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrick Van Goitsenhoven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Maurus Leempoels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurus Leempoels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didier de Pelsmaekers, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to Deerlijk getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Erik Van Haechten hit a great ball. When Arend Van Geestel came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Deerlijk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arend Van Geestel couldn't finish the play. After 21 played minutes ZVC ReLoaDed got a freekick which was hit by Herve Vorster. When Arend Van Geestel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dyllen Wittemans was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. ZVC ReLoaDed's Patrick Van Goitsenhoven got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick Van Goitsenhoven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurus Leempoels having to make a save. Maurus Leempoels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Van Goitsenhoven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Van Goitsenhoven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurus Leempoels having to interfere. Dyllen Wittemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Preuveneer in the 43rd minute of the match. Daniel Goegebeur kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Van Goitsenhoven made a kick off. Patrick Van Goitsenhoven struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Maurus Leempoels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZVC ReLoaDed. Didier de Pelsmaekers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dyllen Wittemans came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deerlijk's Arend Van Geestel. But to his dismay, Arend Van Geestel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Deerlijk booed when ZVC ReLoaDed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Daneels didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Silvain Cornelis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dyllen Wittemans skillfully saved the ball. ZVC ReLoaDed's Dyllen Wittemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arend Van Geestel in the 73rd minute of play. Deerlijk's Maurus Leempoels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Van Goitsenhoven in the 74th minute of play. Didier de Pelsmaekers hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes ZVC ReLoaDed got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Goegebeur. If Michael Preuveneer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arend Van Geestel in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dyllen Wittemans saved ZVC ReLoaDed from getting behind. 93 minutes in the game, Patrick Van Goitsenhoven fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maurus Leempoels having to interfere. Patrick Van Goitsenhoven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deerlijk's Erik Van Haechten got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deerlijk's goalkeeper Maurus Leempoels, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deerlijk had won after a very even match.
