Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Michael Preuveneer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd play minute Herald Wuijts came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maurus Leempoels. 1-0. When Herald Wuijts came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the KSV Chastres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herald Wuijts couldn't finish the play. Maurus Leempoels stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilian Van de Schrieck's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes Deerlijk got a freekick which was hit by Erik Van Haechten. Maurus Leempoels was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Herald Wuijts capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herald Wuijts really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alek Ruttens during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Deerlijk got a freekick which was hit by Alek Ruttens. 3-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Herald Wuijts elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Gilian Van de Schrieck fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maurus Leempoels, passed just outside the right post. Maurus Leempoels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilian Van de Schrieck in the 28th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Deerlijk got a freekick which was hit by Erik Van Haechten. In the 33rd minute, Herald Wuijts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tran Van Aghten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Maurus Leempoels skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Arend Van Geestel came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Deerlijk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arend Van Geestel couldn't finish the play. Michael Preuveneer scored 3-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herald Morreels, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Alek Ruttens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Maurus Leempoels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilian Van de Schrieck in the 51st minute of play. Gilian Van de Schrieck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurus Leempoels read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Gilian Van de Schrieck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Maurus Leempoels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deerlijk's Maurus Leempoels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herald Wuijts in the 67th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Jorge Pelegrims who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deerlijk's Maurus Leempoels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilian Van de Schrieck struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Maurus Leempoels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSV Chastres. Maurus Leempoels didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when KSV Chastres's Gilian Van de Schrieck shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 80 minutes into the game, Erik Van Haechten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deerlijk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KSV Chastres the free kick. In the 80th minute, Erik Van Haechten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, KSV Chastres's Gabriel Salms tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tran Van Aghten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurus Leempoels having to interfere. Herald Wuijts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurus Leempoels having to interfere. Herald Wuijts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurus Leempoels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilian Van de Schrieck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KSV Chastres had played much better football throughout.
