Willy Cox took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kobe Winnepennincks. Kobe Winnepennincks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Dries Taverniers notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KV Corbion's Kobe Winnepennincks. Kobe Winnepennincks was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dries Taverniers might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kobe Winnepennincks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dries Taverniers ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of FC Gerbalona:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KV Corbion:s goal. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Mathijs Rix with Jim Leemans as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Pieter-Jan Jennis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to KV Corbion getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ief Mattheijs hit a great ball. FC Gerbalona's Wouter Dumont got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wouter Dumont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kobe Winnepennincks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Natan Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raf Borglevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Jurgen Cox notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Gerbalona's Dimitri Vissenaeckens. Dimitri Vissenaeckens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Natan Raeijmaeckers came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC Gerbalona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natan Raeijmaeckers couldn't finish the play. In the 77th match minute, KV Corbion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ief Mattheijs to maneuver through the defense. Kobe Winnepennincks was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Natan Raeijmaeckers. After a defensive mix-up in KV Corbion's zone, Jeffery Van Hoeij stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kobe Winnepennincks came out of the goal and Jeffery Van Hoeij tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Jeffery Van Hoeij managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
