Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Ken Van der Veeken made the kick off and thus started the match. Rafael Vissenaekers hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Ken Van der Veeken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Andreas Verstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Luka De Metser. Schemersberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 12 minutes, Wilfried Demeulemeester made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. KAA Reigerloo's Cedric Leyman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute Ken Van der Veeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luka De Metser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ken Van der Veeken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luka De Metser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Ken Van der Veeken received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luka De Metser came out and tried to block the shot, but Ken Van der Veeken slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 21st minute. Cedric Leyman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfried Demeulemeester's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfried Demeulemeester in the 33rd minute of play forced KAA Reigerloo's goalkeeper Cedric Leyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glen Meersman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Leyman having to interfere. If Andreas Verstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Schemersberg's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Van der Veeken came free, but Luka De Metser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Glen Meersman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, KAA Reigerloo's Andreas Verstraeten made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luka De Metser was left in no man's land by his defense there! KAA Reigerloo's Cedric Leyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Meersman in the 56th minute of play. Luka De Metser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ken Van der Veeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Andreas Verstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ken Van der Veeken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luka De Metser having to interfere. Cedric Leyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glen Meersman in the 67th minute of the match. Andreas Verstraeten struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Luka De Metser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Reigerloo. 86 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Schemersberg's Glen Meersman fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Glen Meersman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfried Demeulemeester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Leyman having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Tijs Joostens took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Cedric Leyman to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KAA Reigerloo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Schemersberg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
