Pieter-Jan Jennis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Albertus Rutgeerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertus Rutgeerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raf Borglevens in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter-Jan Jennis in the 40th minute of play forced Park FC Houthalen's goalkeeper Albertus Rutgeerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pieter-Jan Jennis to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pieter-Jan Jennis in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertus Rutgeerts saved Park FC Houthalen from getting behind. If Raf Borglevens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, KV Corbion's Pieter-Jan Jennis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertus Rutgeerts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KV Corbion's Jurgen Cox got a free kick in the 59th minute. Albertus Rutgeerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter-Jan Jennis in the 61st minute of play. If Jo Vergau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Sean Heijligen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, KV Corbion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Beets to maneuver through the defense. Ief Mattheijs charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ief Mattheijs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Ief Mattheijs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pieter-Jan Jennis had several of the Park FC Houthalen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Albertus Rutgeerts as he didn't even see the shot coming. Park FC Houthalen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Pieter-Jan Jennis scored to the left of an out of position Albertus Rutgeerts, making the score, 0-3. Pieter-Jan Jennis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Pieter-Jan Jennis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albertus Rutgeerts having to make a save. Pieter-Jan Jennis struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Albertus Rutgeerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Corbion. When the match was over KV Corbion could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Park FC Houthalen throughout the match.
