Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carl Van Cauwenberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Natan Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natan Raeijmaeckers scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertan Konings, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Van Cauwenberg got free with Dimitri Vissenaeckens in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bertan Konings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natan Raeijmaeckers in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match FC Gerbalona got a corner. Niemandshoek's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natan Raeijmaeckers ran over to the corner to take the kick. Natan Raeijmaeckers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Jeffery Van Hoeij got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Diego Lembrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertan Konings showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dries Taverniers, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jeffery Van Hoeij sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Van Cauwenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Van Cauwenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carl Van Cauwenberg hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Piet Hoeybroeck kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natan Raeijmaeckers in the 29th minute of play forced Niemandshoek's goalkeeper Bertan Konings to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Niemandshoek's goalkeeper Bertan Konings, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bertan Konings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natan Raeijmaeckers in the 32nd minute of play. Carl Van Cauwenberg was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Niemandshoek's Carl Van Cauwenberg got a free kick in the 34th minute. 36 minutes in the game Jesse Rauvoe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Freek Aelemans. Wouter Dumont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bertan Konings tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Gerbalona's Natan Raeijmaeckers got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dries Taverniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Natan Raeijmaeckers sped through Niemandshoek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bertan Konings. After having played for 47 minutes, Natan Raeijmaeckers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gerbalona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natan Raeijmaeckers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dries Taverniers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Jeffery Van Hoeij came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Gerbalona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffery Van Hoeij couldn't finish the play. Bertan Konings showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natan Raeijmaeckers, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Bertan Konings took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natan Raeijmaeckers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 58 minutes, Wouter Dumont managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gerbalona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wouter Dumont was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeffery Van Hoeij came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bertan Konings could save by the left post. Wouter Dumont struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Bertan Konings didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gerbalona. If Natan Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertan Konings took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dries Taverniers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natan Raeijmaeckers in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bertan Konings saved Niemandshoek from getting behind. Natan Raeijmaeckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertan Konings having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Natan Raeijmaeckers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bertan Konings saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 79th minute Jeffery Van Hoeij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertan Konings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertan Konings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natan Raeijmaeckers in the 86th minute of play. Niemandshoek's Bertan Konings proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Niemandshoek from getting a goal against them. Bertan Konings made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Wouter Dumont sent off a good shot on target. Bertan Konings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dries Taverniers in the 92nd minute of the match. Willy Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded FC Gerbalona left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Niemandshoek.
