Spectators: 7568 (Terracing: 5677, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) Ken Van der Veeken made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th match minute, KAA Reigerloo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Van der Veeken to maneuver through the defense. Ken Van der Veeken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertus Rutgeerts having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Park FC Houthalen's Sean Heijligen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cedric Leyman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 14 played minutes Park FC Houthalen got a freekick which was hit by Kristiaan Godefroid. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Park FC Houthalen's goalkeeper Albertus Rutgeerts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jo Vergau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Leyman having to interfere. Andreas Verschelde hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Sean Heijligen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedric Leyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Park FC Houthalen's Evert Van Der Eyde got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Albertus Rutgeerts was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mattias De Ceijser. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ken Van der Veeken in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertus Rutgeerts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Park FC Houthalen's Albertus Rutgeerts got control of the ball when Andreas Verstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albertus Rutgeerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Van der Veeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The crowd rose to their feet as Park FC Houthalen's Sean Heijligen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cedric Leyman. That made the score 0-2 after 52 minutes of play. Jo Vergau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dimitri de Neuyter fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KAA Reigerloo's protests and gave Dimitri de Neuyter a yellow card for diving instead. Dimitri de Neuyter hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Cedric Leyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Heijligen, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Sean Heijligen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KAA Reigerloo's Cedric Leyman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cedric Leyman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jo Vergau in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Park FC Houthalen's Kristiaan Godefroid got a free kick in the 70th minute. Albertus Rutgeerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Van der Veeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Andreas Verstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ken Van der Veeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jo Vergau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cedric Leyman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Albertus Rutgeerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Van der Veeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertus Rutgeerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Verstraeten in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Park FC Houthalen's goalkeeper Albertus Rutgeerts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Andreas Verschelde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Park FC Houthalen's Evert Van Der Eyde got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Albertus Rutgeerts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Verstraeten's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ken Van der Veeken managed to get in a good position for a shot. KAA Reigerloo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ken Van der Veeken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertus Rutgeerts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
