The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Glen Meersman was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Pieter-Jan Jennis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luka De Metser was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pieter-Jan Jennis got free with Luka De Metser in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luka De Metser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter-Jan Jennis in the 88th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the KV Corbion players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
