The audience thought a goal was coming when Jo Vergau got free with Dany-Adams Van Glabeeke in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yvan Dauwen in the 35th minute of play forced Park FC Houthalen's goalkeeper Albertus Rutgeerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harold Wautiers charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harold Wautiers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Zemst's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Vergau came free, but Dany-Adams Van Glabeeke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jordy Heirpoel during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zemst's Jordy Heirpoel got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Jo Vergau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zemst players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Park FC Houthalen.
