Natan Raeijmaeckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Leyman having to interfere. Andreas Verstraeten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dimitri Vissenaeckens firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Natan Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cedric Leyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dries Taverniers, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The throw-in from Josef Van Boxstael in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Gerbalona's Wouter Dumont. In the 18th match minute, KAA Reigerloo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Verschelde to maneuver through the defense. Jeffery Van Hoeij recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dries Taverniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cedric Leyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cedric Leyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natan Raeijmaeckers, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Natan Raeijmaeckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cedric Leyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natan Raeijmaeckers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Gerbalona booed when KAA Reigerloo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward De Witte didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Natan Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Willy Cox put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cedric Leyman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willy Cox in the 43rd minute of play forced KAA Reigerloo's goalkeeper Cedric Leyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cedric Leyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wouter Dumont in the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KAA Reigerloo's zone, Natan Raeijmaeckers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cedric Leyman came out of the goal and Natan Raeijmaeckers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ken Van der Veeken to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in KAA Reigerloo's zone, Natan Raeijmaeckers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cedric Leyman came out of the goal and Natan Raeijmaeckers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Verstraeten in the 54th minute of play forced FC Gerbalona's goalkeeper Dimitri Vissenaeckens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Dries Taverniers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, FC Gerbalona's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Van der Veeken came free, but Dimitri Vissenaeckens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natan Raeijmaeckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Natan Raeijmaeckers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dries Taverniers struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Cedric Leyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gerbalona. Cedric Leyman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natan Raeijmaeckers went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dimitri Vissenaeckens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Van der Veeken in the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, KAA Reigerloo's Cedric Leyman got control of the ball when Jeffery Van Hoeij tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, FC Gerbalona's Jeffery Van Hoeij dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 80th minute, KAA Reigerloo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Natan Raeijmaeckers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. FC Gerbalona's Klaus Van Mellart was substituted for Ignace Verheijden. The supporters of FC Gerbalona booed when KAA Reigerloo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward De Witte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Natan Raeijmaeckers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cedric Leyman was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Cedric Leyman was a little too slow when Jeffery Van Hoeij got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-4. Kenn Dillemans kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see FC Gerbalona's Willy Cox in action when he in the 97th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The KAA Reigerloo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Gerbalona were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
