Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martijn Vansteenbrugge kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Mathis de Neutere managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Eegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathis de Neutere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bas Kerkhove breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Claude Ingelborgh got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jacky Mallaerts made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Maxime Huijbrechs sent off a good shot on target. After 16 minutes, Henrik Rouvroys mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Therapy FC and the Club Eegem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Therapy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Rouvroys to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Therapy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebbe Coryn came free, but Bas Kerkhove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathis de Neutere in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bas Kerkhove saved Therapy FC from getting behind. Andre La Rose struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Bas Kerkhove didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Eegem. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claude Ingelborgh during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mathis de Neutere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bas Kerkhove having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mathis de Neutere's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bas Kerkhove was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Mathis de Neutere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bas Kerkhove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre La Rose blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bas Kerkhove having to make a save. Mathis de Neutere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Therapy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebbe Coryn came free, but Bas Kerkhove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathis de Neutere to strike the kick off in the second half. Mathieu-Maxim Walters kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, Club Eegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Van Dongel to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Martijn Vansteenbrugge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacky Mallaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Martijn Vansteenbrugge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacky Mallaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Vansteenbrugge in the 65th minute of play. Jacky Mallaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Rouvroys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes, Therapy FC's Terry Deckkers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacky Mallaerts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Therapy FC reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Eegem's Mathis de Neutere slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bas Kerkhove. That made the score 0-3 after 69 minutes of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Andre La Rose managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Eegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre La Rose was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bas Kerkhove made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebbe Coryn in the 76th minute. Bas Kerkhove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathis de Neutere in the 78th minute of play. Hans Van Dongel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Club Eegem's Mathis de Neutere fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Therapy FC's Bas Kerkhove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebbe Coryn in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Club Eegem's Mathis de Neutere dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Therapy FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mathis de Neutere 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Sebbe Coryn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bas Kerkhove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Club Eegem could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Therapy FC throughout the match.
