Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Martijn Vansteenbrugge made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Therapy FC booed when Assebroek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Maerschalks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Assebroek FC's Rudi Blomme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Ingelborgh in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Ingelborgh in the 14th minute of play forced Assebroek FC's goalkeeper Rudi Blomme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bas Kerkhove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luckas Dejardin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roderik Meijers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Therapy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Rouvroys to maneuver through the defense. Rudi Blomme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martijn Vansteenbrugge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luckas Dejardin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Therapy FC's Claude Ingelborgh got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Therapy FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Assebroek FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Assebroek FC's Waut Swings got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bas Kerkhove. Conrad Lejeune took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bas Kerkhove. Therapy FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luckas Dejardin made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Luckas Dejardin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assebroek FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luckas Dejardin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bas Kerkhove breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Roderik Meijers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bas Kerkhove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luckas Dejardin in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Therapy FC's zone, Luckas Dejardin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bas Kerkhove came out of the goal and Luckas Dejardin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Therapy FC's Martijn Vansteenbrugge was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 79th minute, Luckas Dejardin made a precise shot to the right of Bas Kerkhove. Therapy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Roderik Meijers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luckas Dejardin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bas Kerkhove read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Martijn Vansteenbrugge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudi Blomme having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luckas Dejardin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bas Kerkhove was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 5-1 became the score in the 92nd minute when Roderik Meijers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Assebroek FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
