Spectators: 7572 (Terracing: 5680, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jorn Hollants kicked off to start the match. Yves Van Engelen came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by rsc superjupiler's Paulus Decorte. But to his dismay, Paulus Decorte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in rsc superjupiler's zone, Tommi Daems stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joonatan Gijselinx came out of the goal and Tommi Daems tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute Brian Verlinden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonatan Gijselinx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommi Daems fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joonatan Gijselinx having to interfere. After 14 played minutes rsc superjupiler got a freekick which was hit by Jannick De Loose. In the 15th minute, Brian Verlinden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hesbania FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hesbania FC's Yves Van Engelen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Van den Wyngaert in the 22nd minute of play. Yves Van Engelen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ferdinand Van Beneden. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Verlinden in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joonatan Gijselinx saved rsc superjupiler from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, rsc superjupiler's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Verlinden came free, but Joonatan Gijselinx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hesbania FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nils Coremans in the 28th minute. The corner led Hesbania FC's Nils Coremans to fire away a dangerous shot which Joonatan Gijselinx despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cedrik De Beer's late challenge caught a Hesbania FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cedrik De Beer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hesbania FC booed when rsc superjupiler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedrik De Beer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorn Hollants kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Brian Verlinden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricky De Hoef hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Hesbania FC's Brian Verlinden in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye rsc superjupiler's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Brian Verlinden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hesbania FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Verlinden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brian Verlinden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joonatan Gijselinx having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind rsc superjupiler's goalkeeper Joonatan Gijselinx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Verlinden was the one to do the kick off. Diego Van den Wyngaert's late challenge caught a Hesbania FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Van den Wyngaert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, rsc superjupiler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Van den Wyngaert to maneuver through the defense. Nils Coremans struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Joonatan Gijselinx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hesbania FC. In the 58th match minute, Hesbania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommi Daems to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Ferdinand Van Beneden shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yves Van Engelen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in rsc superjupiler's zone, Brian Verlinden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joonatan Gijselinx came out of the goal and Brian Verlinden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas-Jan Vos might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joonatan Gijselinx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas-Jan Vos ran back to his position shaking his head. rsc superjupiler's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Nils Coremans scored to the left of an out of position Joonatan Gijselinx, making the score, 1-2. Hesbania FC's Oscar Van De Wiele shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joonatan Gijselinx but with some difficulty. Joonatan Gijselinx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Verlinden in the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Brian Verlinden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hesbania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Verlinden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joonatan Gijselinx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the game, Brian Verlinden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Joonatan Gijselinx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hesbania FC played a much better game than rsc superjupiler and deserved their victory. The rsc superjupiler players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
