Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brian Verlinden started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute of the match Ricky De Hoef sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yves Van Engelen skillfully saved the ball. In the 7th match minute, rsc superjupiler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedrik De Beer to maneuver through the defense. Brian Verlinden's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Joonatan Gijselinx skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Klaus Dechamps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joonatan Gijselinx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Verlinden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hesbania FC's Tommi Daems got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brian Verlinden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Brian Verlinden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Van den Wyngaert kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Yves Van Engelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorn Hollants, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Yves Van Engelen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulus Decorte went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Brian Verlinden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Verlinden got free with Joonatan Gijselinx in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas-Jan Vos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Joonatan Gijselinx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joonatan Gijselinx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Verlinden, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Yves Van Engelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedrik De Beer in the 37th minute of play. Paulus Decorte scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yves Van Engelen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Cedrik De Beer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Yves Van Engelen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brian Verlinden who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Joonatan Gijselinx when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in rsc superjupiler's zone, Tommi Daems stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joonatan Gijselinx came out of the goal and Tommi Daems tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorn Hollants to make the kick off. Joonatan Gijselinx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaus Dechamps in the 54th minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Brian Verlinden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but rsc superjupiler's Joonatan Gijselinx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommi Daems fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joonatan Gijselinx having to interfere. If Thomas-Jan Vos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Brian Verlinden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Joonatan Gijselinx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yves Van Engelen was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Jorn Hollants capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorn Hollants really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 80th minute, rsc superjupiler's Cedrik De Beer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Cedrik De Beer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Joonatan Gijselinx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Verlinden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Brian Verlinden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hesbania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Verlinden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joonatan Gijselinx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
