Sean Coenens might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sam-Lucas Loots. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sean Coenens ran back to his position shaking his head. Sean Coenens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sam-Lucas Loots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bobby Parmentier struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Sam-Lucas Loots didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Funky Belgianz. In the 14th minute Thys Vereect shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederic Waterloos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, R.W.D.M.'s Sam-Lucas Loots got control of the ball when Senne Polspoel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stef Van Collenborgh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sam-Lucas Loots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam-Lucas Loots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Coenens in the 23rd minute of play. Stef Van Collenborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sean Coenens struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. R.W.D.M.'s Sam-Lucas Loots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Coenens in the 29th minute of play. Sam-Lucas Loots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Coenens in the 34th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Sean Coenens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Funky Belgianz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Sam-Lucas Loots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stef Van Collenborgh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 42 minutes, Sean Coenens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Funky Belgianz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sean Coenens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Funky Belgianz's Vincent De Raedemaeker got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Senne Polspoel in the 48th minute of play forced R.W.D.M.'s goalkeeper Sam-Lucas Loots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stef Van Collenborgh made a kick off. In the 51st minute Thys Vereect shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederic Waterloos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. R.W.D.M.'s Sam-Lucas Loots tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Funky Belgianz's Senne Polspoel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sam-Lucas Loots narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Sean Coenens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sam-Lucas Loots was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Senne Polspoel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sam-Lucas Loots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent De Raedemaeker in the 74th minute of play. Sean Coenens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Stef Van Collenborgh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funky Belgianz's supporters rose to their feet, but Stef Van Collenborgh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam-Lucas Loots breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Senne Polspoel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sam-Lucas Loots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Senne Polspoel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the R.W.D.M. defense, Sean Coenens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sam-Lucas Loots. The R.W.D.M. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sam-Lucas Loots should have stopped the shot. Funky Belgianz walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
