Sean Coenens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Bobby Parmentier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinard Vrijdags was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Frederic Waterloos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenney Van Aerschodt went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Ruud Van Gorp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Van Gorp in the 23rd minute of play forced Funky Belgianz's goalkeeper Frederic Waterloos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederic Waterloos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Van Gorp in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Roland Vrijdag was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heiende's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Funky Belgianz the free kick. A collision led to Heiende getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Roland Vrijdag hit a great ball. Stef Van Collenborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Funky Belgianz's Stef Van Collenborgh in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stef Van Collenborgh to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Senne Polspoel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Heiende's goal looked a bit too open when Stef Van Collenborgh came free, but Reinard Vrijdags reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Funky Belgianz's Reinard Vrijdags threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stef Van Collenborgh, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Sean Coenens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute, Ruud Van Gorp made a precise shot to the right of Frederic Waterloos. Funky Belgianz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 75th minute, Ruud Van Gorp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heiende fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 80 minutes into the match, Kenney Van Aerschodt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederic Waterloos. Funky Belgianz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenney Van Aerschodt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Heiende's Reinard Vrijdags proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Heiende from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Heiende's goalkeeper Reinard Vrijdags had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jannis Van Gele. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Heiende's goalkeeper Reinard Vrijdags, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Stef Van Collenborgh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Heiende support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
