After 12 minutes, Daniel Roeland made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. R.W.D.M.'s Sam-Lucas Loots tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Roeland in the 17th minute of play forced R.W.D.M.'s goalkeeper Sam-Lucas Loots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Club Brugge booed when R.W.D.M. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent den Pelsmaeker didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC Club Brugge's Daniel Roeland in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 54 played minutes R.W.D.M. got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Van Huyck. Sam-Lucas Loots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Roeland in the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Manu Schoenmaekers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Manu Schoenmaekers sped through FC Club Brugge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brend Mestdagh. Brend Mestdagh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiaan Van der Hoeven in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, FC Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joppe Vrankx to maneuver through the defense. When Thys Vereect came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the R.W.D.M. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thys Vereect couldn't finish the play. Daniel Roeland in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sam-Lucas Loots, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jorge Van de Velde hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Daniel Roeland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, Fransesco De Hertoghe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Club Brugge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fransesco De Hertoghe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthoon Gyselinckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fransesco De Hertoghe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sam-Lucas Loots. R.W.D.M.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. R.W.D.M.'s Sam-Lucas Loots proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save R.W.D.M. from getting a goal against them. David Standaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sam-Lucas Loots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam-Lucas Loots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fransesco De Hertoghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sam-Lucas Loots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthoon Gyselinckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. FC Club Brugge were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
