Daniel Schol came out of the goal and Sean Coenens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, Bobby Parmentier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Schol was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Bobby Parmentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Senne Polspoel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Octaaf Bouwmans fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erpent's protests and gave Octaaf Bouwmans a yellow card for diving instead. Stef Van Collenborgh struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Daniel Schol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Funky Belgianz. If Sean Coenens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 23 minutes on the clock, Bob De Messemaekere commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Funky Belgianz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Funky Belgianz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Senne Polspoel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Funky Belgianz's Senne Polspoel got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Schol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Funky Belgianz's Senne Polspoel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Schol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Schol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Coenens, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Sean Coenens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funky Belgianz's Senne Polspoel got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vincent De Raedemaeker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Daniel Schol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jannis Van Gele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Schol having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Erpent's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Coenens came free, but Daniel Schol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Schol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Parmentier in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Funky Belgianz fully deserved thier win.
