In the 52nd minute, Daniel Roeland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reinard Vrijdags showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Standaers in the 58th minute of the match. Reinard Vrijdags made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Roeland in the 60th minute of play. Brend Mestdagh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Van Gorp in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heiende's goalkeeper Reinard Vrijdags, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Johan Steuckens charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Roeland in the 82nd minute of play forced Heiende's goalkeeper Reinard Vrijdags to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinard Vrijdags showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fransesco De Hertoghe in the 83rd minute of the match. Fransesco De Hertoghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Club Brugge's Mathieux Engelberchs pulled a muscle in his back after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lionel Gilis was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
