After 2 played minutes R.W.D.M. got a freekick which was hit by Thys Vereect. Eernegem's Cornelis Dujardin got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelis Dujardin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Eernegem's Henry Van Bever nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sam-Lucas Loots made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cornelis Dujardin scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sam-Lucas Loots, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thys Vereect charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thys Vereect the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, R.W.D.M.'s Thys Vereect got a free kick in the 34th minute. Geordy Ooms was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 0-3 became the score in the 36th minute when Henry Van Bever elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Ryan Boede recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gill Persoons. Ryan Boede showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 49th minute, Ryan Boede got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Van Bever was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Van Bever in the 57th minute of play forced R.W.D.M.'s goalkeeper Sam-Lucas Loots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Van Bever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Sam-Lucas Loots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Eernegem got a freekick which was hit by Ludo Van Den Haecke. After having played for 70 minutes, Ryan Boede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R.W.D.M.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Boede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gill Persoons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Boede in the 73rd minute of the match. Ludo Van Den Haecke hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Christiaan Van der Hoeven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Eernegem getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Klaas Opdebeeck hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Ryan Boede left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R.W.D.M. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Ludo Van Den Haecke hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when R.W.D.M.'s Ryan Boede fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Henry Van Bever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam-Lucas Loots having to interfere. Gwenn Scheppers's late challenge caught a R.W.D.M.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwenn Scheppers helped the player get up and apologised. Gwenn Scheppers kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The R.W.D.M. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Eernegem's performance. The match ended with a win for Eernegem.
