An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Roeland in the 14th minute of play forced R.W.D.M.'s goalkeeper Sam-Lucas Loots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Ruud Van Gorp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heiende's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruud Van Gorp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heiende's goalkeeper Reinard Vrijdags, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenney Van Aerschodt in the 46th minute of play forced R.W.D.M.'s goalkeeper Sam-Lucas Loots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thommy De Backer kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruud Van Gorp made a kick off. Ruud Van Gorp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruud Van Gorp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam-Lucas Loots having to interfere. If Ryan Boede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. Reinard Vrijdags was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. R.W.D.M.'s Sam-Lucas Loots proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save R.W.D.M. from getting a goal against them. Sam-Lucas Loots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Van Gorp in the 87th minute of play. Reinard Vrijdags showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Boede, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Heiende players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for R.W.D.M..
