After 6 minutes, Geordy Ooms mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eernegem and the Funky Belgianz players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Eernegem got a freekick which was hit by Geordy Ooms. In the 7th minute Stef Van Collenborgh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gill Persoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Funky Belgianz's Stef Van Collenborgh in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eernegem's goalie prevented a goal. Gill Persoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobby Parmentier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Senne Polspoel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Bobby Parmentier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gill Persoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Senne Polspoel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gill Persoons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bobby Parmentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stef Van Collenborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gill Persoons came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Funky Belgianz's Stef Van Collenborgh. But to his dismay, Stef Van Collenborgh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eernegem's goalkeeper Gill Persoons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sean Coenens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gill Persoons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Senne Polspoel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Bobby Parmentier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Stef Van Collenborgh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gill Persoons. Eernegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stef Van Collenborgh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Gill Persoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Coenens, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Bobby Parmentier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute Sean Coenens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gill Persoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stef Van Collenborgh to make the kick off. When Filip Ingelborgh came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Eernegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Ingelborgh couldn't finish the play. Stef Van Collenborgh did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Gill Persoons 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Eernegem's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stef Van Collenborgh fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bobby Parmentier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Senne Polspoel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gill Persoons having to make a save. In the 66th minute, Stef Van Collenborgh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gill Persoons was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Gwenn Scheppers's late challenge caught a Funky Belgianz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwenn Scheppers helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Gwenn Scheppers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bobby Parmentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gill Persoons having to interfere. Senne Polspoel hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes, Jeroen Libreghts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Funky Belgianz and the Eernegem players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Funky Belgianz's Jeroen Libreghts got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Kenny Van Meel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederic Waterloos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Frederic Waterloos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Van Bever in the 81st minute of the match. When Stef Van Collenborgh came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Funky Belgianz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stef Van Collenborgh couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Eernegem getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Klaas Opdebeeck hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Sean Coenens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gill Persoons. Sean Coenens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Senne Polspoel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stef Van Collenborgh in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gill Persoons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bobby Parmentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Funky Belgianz left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Eernegem.
