Henry Van Bever scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinard Vrijdags, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 played minutes Eernegem got a freekick which was hit by Filip Ingelborgh. Gill Persoons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruud Van Gorp's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Gill Persoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud Van Gorp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenney Van Aerschodt struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Gill Persoons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heiende. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Van Bever in the 23rd minute of play forced Heiende's goalkeeper Reinard Vrijdags to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinard Vrijdags made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Van Bever in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Henry Van Bever ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinard Vrijdags was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Reinard Vrijdags showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Van Bever, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 29 played minutes Heiende got a freekick which was hit by Dirk Roeland. Henry Van Bever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinard Vrijdags having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Cornelis Dujardin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heiende's Reinard Vrijdags was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reinard Vrijdags made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelis Dujardin in the 34th minute of play. Heiende's Reinard Vrijdags played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Van Bever in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Kenney Van Aerschodt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gill Persoons. Eernegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenney Van Aerschodt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Lionel Gilis fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heiende's protests and gave Lionel Gilis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Heiende's Lionel Gilis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Heiende's Reinard Vrijdags played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelis Dujardin in the 45th minute of play. Henry Van Bever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Van Bever made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Heiende got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Everaerts. The corner led Eernegem's Ludo Van Den Haecke to fire away a dangerous shot which Reinard Vrijdags despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Filip Ingelborgh fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eernegem's protests and gave Filip Ingelborgh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Filip Ingelborgh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Van Bever in the 58th minute of play forced Heiende's goalkeeper Reinard Vrijdags to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kenney Van Aerschodt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gill Persoons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruud Van Gorp's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Henry Van Bever kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reinard Vrijdags. That made the score 1-3 in the 67 minute of play. Gill Persoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud Van Gorp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eernegem's Henry Van Bever in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heiende's goalie prevented a goal. Reinard Vrijdags showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Van Bever, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute Ruud Van Gorp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gill Persoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruud Van Gorp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kenney Van Aerschodt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gill Persoons having to interfere. Eernegem's Gill Persoons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenney Van Aerschodt in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Eernegem had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
