After some careless play in the Den Boom In defense, Jorge Hendrickx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Holemans. The Den Boom In fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Holemans should have stopped the shot. Jorge Hendrickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierrot Van Achteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Biesen in the 34th minute of play. VC Noirefontaine's Pierrot Van Achteren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Biesen in the 35th minute of play. Pierrot Van Achteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dyllan Teunis in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of VC Noirefontaine booed when Den Boom In was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Youri Jannis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Garry Gebuers notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Den Boom In's Bruno Holemans. Bruno Holemans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rob Biesen to strike the kick off in the second half. Garry Gebuers struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Bruno Holemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Noirefontaine. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenneth Dewinter during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Den Boom In booed when VC Noirefontaine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Dewinter didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to VC Noirefontaine getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Tjorven De Kelper hit a great ball. If Garry Gebuers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Holemans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garry Gebuers's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Den Boom In's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lou Tombuer was slow to take the kick. During this time VC Noirefontaine's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dyllan Teunis got free with Pierrot Van Achteren in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Jorge Hendrickx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Hendrickx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Holemans having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. VC Noirefontaine had won after a very even match.
