Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mickael Vrijdags kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Augustijn Jannis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 6 in the game by Adolf Valckenaerts from a close distance when the talented Martial Gressens managed to make a qualified save. Berkeinde's players were relieved. In the 8th minute Alfred Van Cleynenbreugel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Vanden Berghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Remco Van Halssbeeck got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Charlie Gillis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 15 minutes, Carlos Van Leempten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Splifted4Life's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Van Leempten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Van Leempten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Remco Van Halssbeeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martial Gressens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Augustijn Jannis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charlie Gillis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martial Gressens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Splifted4Life was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mickael Van Hoeij to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Kobe Reiniers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Will Vanden Berghe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Charlie Gillis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the game, Berkeinde's Evert-Jan Elsens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Will Vanden Berghe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Evert-Jan Elsens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Vanden Berghe having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Mickael Vrijdags ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Will Vanden Berghe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Splifted4Life's goal looked a bit too open when Mickael Vrijdags came free, but Will Vanden Berghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Splifted4Life's Will Vanden Berghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickael Vrijdags in the 40th minute of play. Charlie Gillis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Vanden Berghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickael Vrijdags in the 45th minute of play. When Charlie Gillis came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Splifted4Life fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Gillis couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Charlie Gillis made the kick off in the second half. Splifted4Life were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Berkeinde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Charlie Gillis took the corner. The corner ended in Charlie Gillis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Berkeinde's Martial Gressens did a great save. Martial Gressens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Gillis, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Charlie Gillis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Splifted4Life's supporters rose to their feet, but Charlie Gillis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martial Gressens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christof De Graef recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Charlie Gillis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martial Gressens was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berkeinde's goalkeeper Martial Gressens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Charlie Gillis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martial Gressens. Berkeinde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charlie Gillis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 70th minute, Sylvan Vranckx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Splifted4Life fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Splifted4Life:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Berkeinde:s goal. Alfred Van Cleynenbreugel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Will Vanden Berghe made a huge save. Will Vanden Berghe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Van Cleynenbreugel in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlie Gillis in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martial Gressens saved Berkeinde from getting behind. Herve Goorts charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herve Goorts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Splifted4Life was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herve Goorts to maneuver through the defense. Martial Gressens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charlie Gillis went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Martial Gressens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remco Van Halssbeeck in the 92nd minute of play. When Augustijn Jannis came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Berkeinde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustijn Jannis couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Splifted4Life fans cheered their team off the field, for while Berkeinde had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
