Den Boom In
Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nic Verheijden started the match with the kick off. Den Boom In's Bruno Holemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Roosendael in the 13th minute of play. When Johannes Roosendael, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bruno Holemans was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mathijs Van Der Weghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Biesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Nic Verheijden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waalshoek's Nic Verheijden got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Johannes Roosendael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yelle Leroy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bruno Holemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johny De Messemaecker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mathijs Van Der Weghen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dyllan Teunis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rob Biesen to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dyllan Teunis in the 52nd minute of play forced Waalshoek's goalkeeper Mathijs Van Der Weghen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Holemans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Roosendael in the 56th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Waalshoek fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Den Boom In. Andy Van Caubergen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mathijs Van Der Weghen. 2-1. Rob Biesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathijs Van Der Weghen having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Waalshoek's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Biesen came free, but Mathijs Van Der Weghen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Van Caubergen hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Rob Biesen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Den Boom In's Rob Biesen in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waalshoek's goalie prevented a goal. After 82 played minutes Den Boom In got a freekick which was hit by Andy Van Caubergen. Rob Biesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dyllan Teunis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathijs Van Der Weghen having to interfere. Den Boom In's Rob Biesen got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Den Boom In fans cheered their team off the field, for while Waalshoek had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
