Matthy Van de Velde was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Rapid Arisdonk getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Matthy Van de Velde hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Tuur Jacobs could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Kasper Vercruysse however easily saved by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuur Jacobs was the one to do the kick off. Qwinten Paschiers made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Henri-Patrick De Ridder sent off a good shot on target. Dre De Geyter was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Henri-Patrick De Ridder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Qwinten Paschiers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Rapid Arisdonk's Oscar Huts got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jacob Van Eijcke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Qwinten Paschiers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Rapid Arisdonk got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Huts. Qwinten Paschiers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dre De Geyter in the 69th minute of play. Tuur Jacobs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Vercruysse having to interfere. Constantijn Focquier kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jacob Van Eijcke really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Rozen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
