Will Vanden Berghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierrot Van Achteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolf Valckenaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Sylvan Vranckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Splifted4Life's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VC Noirefontaine the free kick. Sylvan Vranckx hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Carlos Van Leempten struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Pierrot Van Achteren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Splifted4Life. Will Vanden Berghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garry Gebuers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Hendrickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Gillis in the 28th minute of play forced VC Noirefontaine's goalkeeper Pierrot Van Achteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Splifted4Life's Charlie Gillis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pierrot Van Achteren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The throw-in from Miguel Beaufort in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Splifted4Life's Sylvan Vranckx. Carlos Van Leempten scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierrot Van Achteren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sylvan Vranckx came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Splifted4Life fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylvan Vranckx couldn't finish the play. Rocky Dejonghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Guido Van der Voert fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC Noirefontaine's protests and gave Guido Van der Voert a yellow card for diving instead. Guido Van der Voert hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Garry Gebuers made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Charlie Gillis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pierrot Van Achteren. The goal made the score 0-3. Remco Van Halssbeeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlie Gillis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierrot Van Achteren having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Charlie Gillis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierrot Van Achteren. VC Noirefontaine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charlie Gillis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Splifted4Life's Remco Van Halssbeeck got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Charlie Gillis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. VC Noirefontaine's Pierrot Van Achteren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Gillis in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlie Gillis in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierrot Van Achteren saved VC Noirefontaine from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Remco Van Halssbeeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Splifted4Life's supporters rose to their feet, but Remco Van Halssbeeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierrot Van Achteren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Charlie Gillis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pierrot Van Achteren, 0-6. If Charlie Gillis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Splifted4Life's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
