Spectators: 7393 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) Ernest De Loose started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Luka Ourogge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bayardii the free kick. After 2 played minutes Sint-Maria-Oudenhove got a freekick which was hit by Luka Ourogge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest De Loose in the 6th minute of play forced Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's goalkeeper Tran Meulemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's Tran Meulemans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sint-Maria-Oudenhove from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Eddy Deferme notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's Tran Meulemans. Tran Meulemans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tibo De Block hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes of play, Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's Christofere Van Gestelt made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Vanden Bussche was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ernest De Loose came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Bayardii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest De Loose couldn't finish the play. Ernest De Loose's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tran Meulemans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Tran Meulemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest De Loose in the 44th minute of play. Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's Tran Meulemans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Sint-Maria-Oudenhove from getting a goal against them. Christofere Van Gestelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Abel Vanden Bussche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christofere Van Gestelt to make the kick off. When Constantijn Baeten came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the FC Bayardii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantijn Baeten couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Bayardii getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eddy Deferme hit a great ball. If Matijs Paaps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tran Meulemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest De Loose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sint-Maria-Oudenhove getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pierrot Schoovaerts hit a great ball. Tran Meulemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest De Loose, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ernest De Loose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Vanden Bussche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christofere Van Gestelt in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Bayardii defense, Matijs Paaps kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Vanden Bussche. The FC Bayardii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Vanden Bussche should have stopped the shot. Hendrik Blocks charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hendrik Blocks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Bayardii booed when Sint-Maria-Oudenhove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrik Blocks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tran Meulemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest De Loose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
