Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) AFC Averbode's Cederik De Potter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, De Dinosaur Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoeri Van Achter to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to De Dinosaur Boys getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Albert Feys hit a great ball. If Cederik De Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Dinosaur Boys's goalkeeper Kristof Salms, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, AFC Averbode's Cederik De Potter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Kristof Salms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Verengen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Albert Feys had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nico Vandeput. AFC Averbode's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albert Feys was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, De Dinosaur Boys's Soren Styles got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Cederik De Potter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristof Salms having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Verengen got free with Kristof Salms in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Verengen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guy Ghesels to make the kick off. Robbie Struijf might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristof Salms. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Struijf ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Lucas Verengen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristof Salms was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. De Dinosaur Boys's Kristof Salms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cederik De Potter in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, one of De Dinosaur Boys:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cederik De Potter in the 68th minute of play forced De Dinosaur Boys's goalkeeper Kristof Salms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Albert Feys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71stth minute of the game Cederik De Potter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Dinosaur Boys's Kristof Salms was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matthew Waterloos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Reinaud Gysens managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Averbode's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinaud Gysens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristof Salms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Feys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Vandeput having to interfere. Robbie Struijf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kristof Salms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, one of De Dinosaur Boys:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for De Dinosaur Boys. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Verengen in the 89th minute of play forced De Dinosaur Boys's goalkeeper Kristof Salms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cederik De Potter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kristof Salms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristof Salms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cederik De Potter in the 92nd minute of the match. AFC Averbode's Nico Vandeput proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Averbode from getting a goal against them. Cederik De Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristof Salms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cederik De Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lucas Verengen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 102nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC Averbode walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
