Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ben Engelborghs took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Tibo De Block shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nick Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarne Bourguignon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Abel Vanden Bussche made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Bayardii's Constantijn Baeten got a free kick in the 6th minute. Jarne Bourguignon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Vanden Bussche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarne Bourguignon went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. CLUB BRUJAS's Nick Huts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Deferme in the 18th minute of play. Eddy Deferme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The FC Bayardii fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when FC Bayardii's Eddy Deferme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 30 minutes into the match, FC Bayardii's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Engelborghs came free, but Abel Vanden Bussche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Abel Vanden Bussche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eddy Deferme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Huts having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ernest De Loose made the kick off in the second half. If Ben Engelborghs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Eddy Deferme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Nick Huts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tibo De Block kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes FC Bayardii got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Deferme. In the 71st minute Ben Engelborghs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Vanden Bussche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, CLUB BRUJAS's Nick Huts got control of the ball when Eddy Deferme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tibo De Block kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Jarne Bourguignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ben Engelborghs came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the CLUB BRUJAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Engelborghs couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FC Bayardii booed when CLUB BRUJAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Valckeners didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Bayardii were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after CLUB BRUJAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mike Creemers took the corner. 98 minutes into the match, FC Bayardii's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Engelborghs came free, but Abel Vanden Bussche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
