In the 55th minute Cederik De Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Coekx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Coekx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Struijf in the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Robbie Struijf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Averbode's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robbie Struijf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas Coekx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cederik De Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Londerzeel Storm Sectie's Lucas Coekx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cederik De Potter in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute Cederik De Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Coekx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Cederik De Potter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Averbode's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cederik De Potter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Averbode's zone, Arnaud Spoelbergh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Vandeput came out of the goal and Arnaud Spoelbergh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, AFC Averbode's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Spoelbergh came free, but Nico Vandeput reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AFC Averbode getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Viktor Rix hit a great ball. If Cederik De Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cederik De Potter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Lucas Coekx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AFC Averbode fully deserved thier win.
