After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Arnout Naets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Brugge's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnout Naets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Coekx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maria Petrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Coekx having to interfere. Kristen Huts kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Londerzeel Storm Sectie's Karel Ceroux got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Londerzeel Storm Sectie's goalkeeper Lucas Coekx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maria Petrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Coekx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maria Petrescu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Maria Petrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lucas Coekx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Brugge booed when Londerzeel Storm Sectie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Minnen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Christoph De Keijser hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Arnout Naets recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucas Coekx. Arnout Naets showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maria Petrescu got free with Lucas Coekx in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christoph De Keijser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perry Bosbeeck charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Perry Bosbeeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Club Brugge fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Club Brugge's Maria Petrescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Londerzeel Storm Sectie's Lucas Coekx got control of the ball when Maria Petrescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Christoph De Keijser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
