In the 5th match minute, CLUB BRUJAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Valckeners to maneuver through the defense. Jammy Van Heurick was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, CLUB BRUJAS's Dean Valckeners got a free kick in the 11th minute. Nick Huts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastien Van Arschot, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Nicolas Herremans kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Cubelicious's Jammy Van Heurick in action when he in the 19th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 32 minutes into the match, CLUB BRUJAS's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastien Van Arschot came free, but Nick Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dean Valckeners was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, CLUB BRUJAS's Dean Valckeners got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nick Huts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Cubelicious's Sebastien Van Arschot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nick Huts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nick Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastien Van Arschot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Huts having to interfere. Nick Huts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastien Van Arschot's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Nick Huts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastien Van Arschot in the 64th minute of the match. Nick Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastien Van Arschot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nick Huts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Nick Huts managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Cubelicious's Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 76 minutes, Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cubelicious and the CLUB BRUJAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cubelicious's Dominik Elens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarne Bourguignon in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes CLUB BRUJAS got a freekick which was hit by Jarne Bourguignon. 88 minutes into the match, Cubelicious's goal looked a bit too open when Jarne Bourguignon came free, but Dominik Elens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nick Huts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cubelicious eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
