Spectators: 7635 (Terracing: 5727, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maria Petrescu kicked off to start the match. Abel Vanden Bussche came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Brugge's Maria Petrescu. But to his dismay, Maria Petrescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Maria Petrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Maria Petrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Brugge's supporters rose to their feet, but Maria Petrescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Vanden Bussche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maria Petrescu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Abel Vanden Bussche 17 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes FC Bayardii got a freekick which was hit by Tibo De Block. Arnout Naets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Vanden Bussche having to interfere. Abel Vanden Bussche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnout Naets in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, FC Bayardii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin De Weerdt to maneuver through the defense. Teun Goemyne hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Brugge's zone, Ernest De Loose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dany-Adams Van Geertruyden came out of the goal and Ernest De Loose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Christoph De Keijser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Vanden Bussche was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Maria Petrescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Abel Vanden Bussche skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kristen Huts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Abel Vanden Bussche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Ernest De Loose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dany-Adams Van Geertruyden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ernest De Loose made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Brugge fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Club Brugge:s Dany-Adams Van Geertruyden showed great skill when he stopped Mike Creemers:s penalty. In the 54th minute FC Bayardii were awarded a corner. Mike Creemers went to the cornerflag to take it. 57 minutes into the game, Maria Petrescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Abel Vanden Bussche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the match, FC Bayardii's goal looked a bit too open when Maria Petrescu came free, but Abel Vanden Bussche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Brugge's Christoph De Keijser got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Maria Petrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoph De Keijser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristen Huts struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Abel Vanden Bussche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Brugge. Maria Petrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Vanden Bussche having to interfere. Maria Petrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dany-Adams Van Geertruyden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest De Loose, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Maria Petrescu scored 4-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Vanden Bussche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waddah Wipp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Maria Petrescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Vanden Bussche was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Arnout Naets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Abel Vanden Bussche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Maria Petrescu notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of FC Bayardii's Abel Vanden Bussche. Abel Vanden Bussche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Brugge's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
