Christofere De Ridder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Matthy Hairpoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pascal Reiniers fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brussel's protests and gave Pascal Reiniers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Pascal Reiniers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christofere De Ridder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henri-Xavier Van de Schrieck was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Matthy Hairpoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri-Xavier Van de Schrieck in the 34th minute of the match. Henri-Xavier Van de Schrieck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christofere De Ridder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Matthy Hairpoel made a huge save. The supporters of K.F.C NIJLEN booed when Brussel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francis Coomans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henri-Xavier Van de Schrieck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthy Hairpoel having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alexander Vorster made the kick off in the second half. Matthy Hairpoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Clement in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Jose Van Linthoudt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brussel's zone, Christofere De Ridder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthy Hairpoel came out of the goal and Christofere De Ridder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of K.F.C NIJLEN booed when Brussel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime De Loose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marten Asselberghs hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Henri-Xavier Van de Schrieck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthy Hairpoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christofere De Ridder, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Matthy Hairpoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Clement in the 92nd minute of play. Christofere De Ridder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Christofere De Ridder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthy Hairpoel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Christofere De Ridder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the K.F.C NIJLEN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
