Spectators: 6910 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jesse Winnepennincx took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Jos Terwenhout fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Yalaz's protests and gave Jos Terwenhout a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Yalaz getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Jos Terwenhout hit a great ball. FC Yalaz's Tommas Krabbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marten Van Der Linden in the 5th minute of play. Tommas Krabbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesse Winnepennincx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Coremans kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Joos Meijers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommas Krabbe. FC Yalaz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute Jesse Winnepennincx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommas Krabbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommas Krabbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marten Van Der Linden in the 13th minute of play. Tommas Krabbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marten Van Der Linden in the 16th minute of the match. Velde's attack was well implemented in the 16th minute, but when Marten Van Der Linden was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 19 minutes into the game, Jasper Aelgoet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Thomas-Jan Tilemans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommas Krabbe came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Velde's Simon Lefebre. But to his dismay, Simon Lefebre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jasper Aelgoet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas-Jan Tilemans having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Staf Schoenmaekers notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Velde's Thomas-Jan Tilemans. Thomas-Jan Tilemans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th play minute Staf Schoenmaekers came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thomas-Jan Tilemans. 3-1. Staf Schoenmaekers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Thomas-Jan Tilemans made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Staf Schoenmaekers to strike the kick off in the second half. Simon Lefebre came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommas Krabbe could save by the left post. Staf Schoenmaekers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octave Dirickx kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Staf Schoenmaekers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Jorne Boumans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommas Krabbe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 78 minutes into the game, Aaron Van Maestricht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Yalaz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velde the free kick. The supporters of Velde booed when FC Yalaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Van Maestricht didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Lefebre didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-3 via right post in the game's 79th minute. Velde's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! A collision led to FC Yalaz getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Aaron Van Maestricht hit a great ball. Velde's Simon Lefebre was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The FC Yalaz supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Velde's performance. The match ended with a win for Velde.
