Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wout de Pelsmaker started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Philip Stuyck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RSC Moderscheid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Thunder the free kick. A collision led to RSC Moderscheid getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Philip Stuyck hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Dreas Artois managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Thunder's supporters rose to their feet, but Dreas Artois was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertrand Lanckneus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octave Clijsters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Dreas Artois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alek Moerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Moderscheid's zone, Octave Clijsters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertrand Lanckneus came out of the goal and Octave Clijsters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertrand Lanckneus stood somewhat misplaced when Dreas Artois came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. Octave Clijsters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertrand Lanckneus having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Dreas Artois who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RSC Moderscheid's Bertrand Lanckneus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Fc Thunder booed when RSC Moderscheid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Schollens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Fc Thunder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Vanhove to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Fc Thunder's Bertrand Lanckneus threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dreas Artois, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Octave Clijsters struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bertrand Lanckneus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Thunder. Dreas Artois who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Bertrand Lanckneus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Alek Moerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, RSC Moderscheid's goal looked a bit too open when Octave Clijsters came free, but Bertrand Lanckneus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dreas Artois to strike the kick off in the second half. Fc Thunder's Alex Verstappen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Thunder from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Octave Clijsters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Thunder's supporters rose to their feet, but Octave Clijsters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 72nd minute Octave Clijsters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertrand Lanckneus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul-Louis Geeraerts charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul-Louis Geeraerts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to RSC Moderscheid getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Paul-Louis Geeraerts hit a great ball. Fc Thunder's Octave Clijsters got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. RSC Moderscheid's Bertrand Lanckneus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dreas Artois in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Octave Clijsters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertrand Lanckneus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dreas Artois in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bertrand Lanckneus saved RSC Moderscheid from getting behind. Bertrand Lanckneus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dreas Artois's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. RSC Moderscheid's Bertrand Lanckneus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octave Clijsters in the 92nd minute of play. Fc Thunder's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
