Bertrand Lanckneus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wout de Pelsmaker to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of RSC Moderscheid booed when Forza Wontergem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Schaerlaekens didn't get a good kick on the ball. RSC Moderscheid's supporters rose to their feet, but Wout de Pelsmaker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Sielis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Matthieu struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Bertrand Lanckneus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forza Wontergem.
