In the 10th minute of the match, Reinaud Valckeners got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stephen Vanpevenaeyge was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Jeffery De Haes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norbert Theys charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norbert Theys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, STVV373 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Theys to maneuver through the defense. Jeffery De Haes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Stephen Vanpevenaeyge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, STVV373's Geert De Maijer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jilian Davus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reinaud Valckeners recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When STVV373's Joost De Neuter in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KeVa United's goalie prevented a goal. Stephen Vanpevenaeyge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinaud Valckeners went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute Jeffery De Haes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephen Vanpevenaeyge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, KeVa United's Jeffery De Haes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stephen Vanpevenaeyge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Sammy Schols fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KeVa United's protests and gave Sammy Schols a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of STVV373 booed when KeVa United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Schols didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joost De Neuter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffery De Haes in the 47th minute of play forced STVV373's goalkeeper Stephen Vanpevenaeyge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeffery De Haes was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reinaud Valckeners in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stephen Vanpevenaeyge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 53 played minutes KeVa United got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Van Impe. Jeffery De Haes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Stephen Vanpevenaeyge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Reinaud Valckeners had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jeffery De Haes managed to get in a good position for a shot. KeVa United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeffery De Haes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephen Vanpevenaeyge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeffery De Haes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes, Michael Van Aertvin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KeVa United and the STVV373 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes KeVa United got a freekick which was hit by Michael Van Aertvin. Jilian Davus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geert De Maijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. STVV373's Stephen Vanpevenaeyge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffery De Haes in the 70th minute of play. Reinaud Valckeners sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinaud Valckeners received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Stephen Vanpevenaeyge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephen Vanpevenaeyge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaud Valckeners, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Stephen Vanpevenaeyge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffery De Haes in the 82nd minute of the match. KeVa United's Reinaud Valckeners got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Jeffery De Haes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of STVV373's Stephen Vanpevenaeyge. Stephen Vanpevenaeyge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeffery De Haes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stephen Vanpevenaeyge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KeVa United fully deserved thier win.
