Kristen Taverniers charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristen Taverniers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KeVa United booed when Pomptje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristen Taverniers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeffery De Haes in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Maerschalk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Reinaud Valckeners had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. When Dave De Prins fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pomptje's protests and gave Dave De Prins a yellow card for diving instead. Reinaud Valckeners took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Maerschalk. Jorge Maerschalk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Reinaud Valckeners sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristen Taverniers kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jorge Maerschalk came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by KeVa United's Reinaud Valckeners. But to his dismay, Reinaud Valckeners quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Kristen Taverniers was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. After 32 played minutes Pomptje got a freekick which was hit by Kristen Taverniers. Jeffery De Haes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pomptje's Jorge Maerschalk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffery De Haes in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Reinaud Valckeners managed to get in a good position for a shot. KeVa United's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinaud Valckeners was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Maerschalk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xander-Paul Paelemans hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Jorge Maerschalk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffery De Haes in the 48th minute of the match. The Pomptje players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KeVa United were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeffery De Haes to strike the kick off in the second half. Xander-Paul Paelemans kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Sven Ketelers kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jeffery De Haes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Maerschalk came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeffery De Haes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 60th minute. Jilian Davus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Ketelers in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Reinaud Valckeners got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Pomptje's goal looked a bit too open when Jeffery De Haes came free, but Jorge Maerschalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Pomptje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave De Prins to maneuver through the defense. Reinaud Valckenerss short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Jorge Maerschalk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Pomptje getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Douglas Van Boeckost hit a great ball. Reinaud Valckeners's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jorge Maerschalk firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 83rd match minute, KeVa United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willem-Jan Dewinter to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match Francis Van de Wal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jilian Davus skillfully saved the ball. Jeffery De Haes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jorge Maerschalk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
