Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonas Vanderhaege took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Dreas Van Doren could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Loui Wouters however easily saved by the left post. 19 minutes into the match, AFC Avennes's Janes Abrams sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loui Wouters narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match Bryan Sneijers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loui Wouters skillfully saved the ball. Dreas Van Doren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Loui Wouters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loui Wouters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dreas Van Doren in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Knutsegem's goalkeeper Loui Wouters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dreas Van Doren. Loui Wouters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janes Abrams, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Leo De Maesschalck's late challenge caught a AFC Avennes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janes Abrams made a kick off. If Jonas Vanderhaege had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Axel Heirpoel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knutsegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Heirpoel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brend Loots was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonas Vanderhaege showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. In the 64th minute, Mario Godts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Janes Abrams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Wouters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loui Wouters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janes Abrams's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute.
